The short version

Athletic Technologies Inc. makes Athletech apps, including Baseball AI and Softball AI. You upload a training video. Our own AI coaches it.

• We never sell your personal information.
• We never send your videos to outside AI companies.
• Kids under 13 can't create their own account. A parent creates the account, adds the athlete, and gives consent.
• Our models get better from athletes' videos. Athletes 13 and older can opt out anytime. Videos of kids under 13 are never used for training unless a parent separately says yes.
• You can delete a video, an athlete, or your whole account anytime in Settings.

1. Who we are

Athletic Technologies Inc. ("Athletech," "we," "us") is a Delaware corporation based in San Diego, California. This policy covers our apps, including Baseball AI and Softball AI on iOS and Android, our parent and coach web app at athletech.co, and the coaching services behind them (together, the "Service").

2. What we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Name and email address
• Login credentials, handled by our sign-in provider (we never see your Apple or Google password)
• Birthday, for player accounts, so we can apply the age rules in Section 5
• Phone number, if you choose to add one
• Level of play and goals, if you add them
• Height and weight, if you choose to enter them

Parent and coach accounts are for adults 18 and older.

Child profiles

A parent can add an athlete to their account. For each athlete we collect:

• Name, and a nickname if the parent adds one
• An age band instead of a full birthday
• Level of play, position, batting hand, and goals

The child profile belongs to the parent's account.

Videos and movement measurements

We collect the training videos you upload, such as swings, pitches, and drills, plus a still image from each video. We remove the audio from every video. We don't keep or use audio.

Our software measures how the body moves in each video. We keep those movement measurements along with your coaching notes and scores. We do not keep a separate copy of every frame.

Device and usage information

• An app instance ID and a push notification token
• IP address, app version, and platform (iOS, Android, or web)
• Which Athletech app you use
• How you use the Service, such as screens you open and features you use. This can include an internal ID for a video, but never the video itself.
• Crash reports, so we can fix problems

Payments

Apple and Google bill app subscriptions. Stripe bills parent and coach plans bought on our website. We keep your subscription status so we know what you can access. We never store your card number.

Pocket Radar (only if you connect it)

If you connect a Pocket Radar account, we receive your radar account ID, player ID, and the speed readings you choose to bring in, such as bat, ball, or pitch speed.

Coaches and teams

If you use team features, we collect the team name, age group, and roster. If a parent invites a coach, we collect that coach's email address and the permissions the parent chooses.

What we don't collect or keep

• GPS or device location. A field name, opponent, or inning is something you type.
• Advertising identifiers
• Audio. We remove it from every video.
• Card numbers

3. How we use it

We use your information to:

• Create and secure your account
• Analyze your videos and give coaching feedback
• Show progress to the athlete, the parent, and any coach the parent allows
• Send account emails and the notifications you turn on
• Keep the Service reliable and learn which features people use
• Process subscriptions and prevent fraud

Our own AI. Your videos are analyzed by Athletech's own models, running on our Google Cloud infrastructure. We never send your videos to outside AI services such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini.

Improving our models. We use uploaded videos and their movement measurements to make our coaching models better.

• Athletes 13 and older, and their parents, can turn this off anytime in Settings.
• Videos of athletes under 13 are never used for training unless a parent gives separate, specific consent. Agreeing to this policy is not that consent.
• Training data stays with Athletech. It is never sent to an outside AI company.

Turning off training does not delete videos you've already uploaded. You can delete those separately.

No promotional use. We never use your videos in ads, pitch decks, social media, or app store screenshots without your separate written consent.

Emails. We send account and service emails. If we send product updates or offers, every one includes an unsubscribe link.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We don't share it for cross-app advertising.

We share information with service providers that process it on our behalf and only for the Service:

We also share information with people you choose:

• Coaches. A parent can invite a coach and choose whether that coach sees videos, coaching notes, and progress. The parent can remove that access anytime.
• Share links. A parent, or an athlete 18 or older, can create a share link that shows scores. Name and video clip are off by default, and only the account holder can turn them on. For athletes under 18, that's the parent. Name and clip are never available for athletes under 13. Anyone with the link can open it. Links expire after 30 days, and you can turn one off sooner.

We may also share information:

• When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and others
• If Athletech is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. This policy will continue to apply to your information.

5. Children's privacy

Athletech apps are built for youth athletes, including children under 13. This section explains how we protect them.

Kids under 13 can't create their own account. Before any upload, including "analyze my first swing," we ask for the user's age. If the user is under 13, we stop. No account is created and no video is uploaded. We ask a parent or guardian to create a parent account and add the athlete. Once an athlete turns 13, the parent can let them sign in to their own profile, which stays connected to the parent's account.

What we collect about a child. When a parent adds a child, we collect the child's name, age band, level of play, position, batting hand, and goals. We also collect the videos the parent uploads and the movement measurements and scores from those videos. If a radar is connected, we collect speed readings for that athlete. If the child is on a team, we collect the roster link.

Why we collect it. To give the coaching feedback the parent asked for, show progress, and run the account. We collect only what the Service needs, and we never require more information from a child than the Service needs to work.

Who can see it. The parent. A coach, only if the parent invited that coach and allowed it. Our service providers in Section 4, only to run the Service. A share link for a child under 13 shows scores only, never the child's name or a video clip.

Parent consent. When a parent adds a child, the parent gives consent for us to collect and use that child's information as described in this policy. We keep a record of that consent, including the date and policy version.

Training is a separate choice. Consent to create a child's profile does not include consent to use that child's videos for model training. Training stays off for children under 13 unless the parent turns it on separately.

Parent rights. In the app, a parent can:

• Review and edit their child's profile
• Delete any of their child's videos
• Delete their child's profile, which also deletes that child's videos and related data
• Remove coach access
• Turn model training on or off for their child
• Delete the parent account

A parent can also email support@athletech.co. We'll complete a verified request within 30 days. Parents exercise these rights for their children. We never ask a child to contact us.

6. Your choices and controls

You can:

• Turn model training off in Settings, for athletes 13 and older
• Give or withhold separate training consent for an athlete under 13
• Keep name and clip off on share links, or turn a link off
• Choose what an invited coach can see, or remove the coach
• Delete a video, a child profile, or your whole account
• Unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in any email, or by emailing support@athletech.co

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your Apple or Google account so you aren't charged.

7. How long we keep it, and deletion

We keep your account information, videos, and movement measurements while your account is open, unless you delete them sooner.

• Delete a video: we delete the video, its still image, its movement measurements, and any share link or clip made from it.
• Delete a child profile: we delete the profile and that child's videos, still images, movement measurements, share links and clips, coach access, and Pocket Radar links.
• Delete your account: we delete your login, your profile, every child profile on your account, and all of the related data above.

You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Account Information → Delete Account, or at athletech.co/delete-account. Email requests to support@athletech.co are completed within 30 days. Include your account email and which Athletech app you use.

A few records follow their own schedule:

• Billing records are kept only as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally up to 7 years.
• Analytics are kept for up to 14 months, and crash reports for up to 90 days. Neither includes your videos.
• Backups: deleted data is removed from our backups within 35 days.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your account and your videos. Videos are stored privately and can be opened only through short-lived secure links.

No online service is perfectly secure. Contact us right away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

9. International users

Athletech is based in the United States, and we store and process information in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information is transferred to and processed in the U.S.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that's wrong
• Delete your information, as described in Section 7
• Appeal a decision we make on your request

Email support@athletech.co to use these rights. We'll verify your request and respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for making a privacy request.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There's no common standard for them, so the Service doesn't respond to them. We don't track you across other sites or apps for advertising.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We'll change the effective date at the top. For material changes, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
